She has played a major role in revitalizing Shelbyville, renovating several historic downtown buildings—including the one she calls home on Main Street. As a real estate professional, investor, and community advocate, she’s passionate about helping others plant their roots in a place she loves.

Melinda’s journey in real estate started before she even knew it—her father and grandfather were both in the industry, and her first job out of college was in property management in Atlanta. She found herself drawn into the home-building process and naturally transitioned to the front lines as a Realtor.

Beyond real estate, Melinda is a writer, entrepreneur, and Airbnb investor, managing three boutique lofts on Main Street. She contributes to a local magazine, is working on her first book, and holds degrees in English (University of Kentucky) and Holistic Wellness, along with several nutrition and fitness certifications.
