Brock Lisby knows the value of community better than most. Growing up working at his family’s store, Carriss Grocery, he learned firsthand what it means to connect with people, work hard, and build relationships that last. Whether it was stocking shelves, running the cash register, or chatting with customers, Brock grew up in a place where small-town values were the foundation of everyday life. It’s also where he met his wife, Brittany, making the store not just a business, but a cornerstone of his story.

Born and raised in Southville, Brock and Brittany have built their family on 40 acres of land where they are instilling the same work ethic and deep-rooted values in their two daughters, Aniston and Carris. His love for home and heritage made real estate a natural fit, and for the past five years, Brock has been a dedicated force at Torrey Smith Realty.

Before transitioning into real estate, Brock built a successful career in business and marketing, studying at the University of Cincinnati and the University of Louisville before joining CH Robinson Worldwide, one of North America’s largest logistics companies. Starting as an intern, he quickly climbed the ranks to become a supervisor of a major account management team, leading operations at a high level. But despite his success, his heart remained in Shelby County.

Brock’s passion for his hometown extends beyond real estate—he is actively involved in public service and community growth, following in the footsteps of his uncle, Tony Carriss, who served as magistrate of the sixth district for nearly three decades. Whether he’s helping families find their dream home, strengthening the local economy, or serving his district, Brock’s commitment to the people of Shelby County remains steadfast.
